A former member of Devo's taken up the name Jihad Jerry to pitch a solo record.

Devo Guy Returns a Jihad JerryGerald V. Casale, former songwriter and keyboard player of new-wave wackos Devo is back in the music business, leading Jihad Jerry and the Evildoers Mine is Not a Holy War. The album's already seen a virtual release by Warner Bros.' e-label, Cordless Records. It'll hit physical stores Sept. 12.
