Goth Bands - The Nightmare Before Christmas
A slew of dark and spooky, or kinda-dark and cuddly bands will take a shot at reinterpreting songs from Tim Burton's 1993 The Nightmare Before Christmas this year.
With the film re-worked for a December release with full-fledged 3-D effects on for its re-release, the film will strengthen its ties to Hot Topic teenagers with a double soundtrack to see release to coincide with the return of the film to theaters, according to MTV News. One disc will carry Danny Elfman's original tunes from the movie, the other gives the likes of Marilyn Manson, Fall Out Boy and Fiona Apple covering the original songs.
